Ferrari
360 Modena
The
mid-engined Dino 246GT was unique in that no where on the
car did the word 'Ferrari' appear. The best selling Ferrari
was the 1986-89 328 GTS, 6,068 were made. The most expensive
Ferrari was a 250GTO which sold for $12m. The 1976 Ferrari
400GT was the first to feature an automatic gearbox.
In 1985 a Ferrari 250LM brochure sold for $1,800 at auction.
The prancing horse logo first appeared on the radiator grille
in 1959. It remained the same until 1962. Not all Ferrari's
are red. The factory currently offers a choice of 18 colors.
